Sweet Escape

Hello readers,

Its almost June now. My gosshhh! Can the clock stop ticking. Everyone is so busy everyday that they never realize how fast time goes by. 
There're ups and downs in life, same goes to me. My finals are around the corner and I have only a month to prepare! Luckily I have only 3 subjects this semester. Do u know how difficult for me to get into a study mood. I'm still having my holiday mood. 
Me and my boyfie just came back from Melbourne last saturday. I surprise him with a trip to Melbourne because its his birthday. My instagram followers surely knew that how much he prepared for my birthday this year, so I cant just sit there or buy a cake wishing him happy birthday. But of course I was not the only one that sponsored this trip, the person that helped to make this trip a success didn't want to reveal his/her identity so of course I am gonna respect his/her decision.
So the story started like this..... One day before the trip, I passed him two tickets to Melbourne. Of course, he was stunned for a minute or two because he couldn't really believe that we are actually flying the Melbourne the next day. I could definitely understand that because I was in the same situation. It was a school day, and we were suppose to walk to Uni for classes but instead we are going to elsewhere for a holiday. So, it was difficult to switch the mood. Somewhat, we woke up at 7 the next day so that we won't miss out flight at 9.50am. We took a bus to the airport because we rather save up the money for Max Brenner Chocolate. Yummmss!

When we were in the plane... 

First stop, Max Brenner of course. We've been craving for it like crazyyyyy. Basically we didnt do anything much on the first day. We spent most of the time cuddling and sleeping in the hotel room. We were literally SLEEPING, not those kinda sleep. LOL. We were so tired, god knows why! Kinda regret we wasted out time sleeping. Oh ya! My baby's heng dai came and brought us around. Thanks Heng Keat!

After Heng Keat left, me and my babyboy paid a visit to the library. It is so pretty in there, we felt like we were stepping in Hogwarts. Haha. Too bad we didn't take any photos in there because we were to impress by the building itself. We planned to go to the beach the next day because I've been dying to go to the Brighton Beach. It was in one of my wishlist to go to the colorful wooden huts! So we checked out the next day because I booked 2 different hotels, don't ask why! (stupid reasons) After checking into another hotel (Oaks On Collin), we walked to the train station so that we could catch a train to the Brighton Beach.

Thank god it was a sunny and perfect day! :) We enjoyed the trip there.

My friends warned and advised me to cancel the trip to the beach because the weather in Melbourne is worse than Adelaide, it was so cold there. But we were lucky, it was not that cold that day. :) Hehe. Happy kid. 

After beach, we went to Melbourne Central to walk around and grab a birthday present for my boo. Glad that he love his present. :) 

We walked back to the hotel at around 6.30 because we need to prepare and get ready for the birthday dinner. :) I booked a restaurant at the river side because the food they are serving was my baby's fav, TEPPANYAKI. Thankyou Urbanspoon. Hehee

The whatever thing that is on flame right there was the bomb! My gosh! Its sooo good, It literally melts inside your mouth when u are eating it. I'm gonna post a video of us eating it. Soon. :) The chef is from Malaysia too, so we get to enjoy special treatment.

After dinner we went for a walk by the river. It was soooooo cold but our hearts felt so warm. ;)

I wanna thank the assistant manager, he was one funny and friendly guy ;) 

We didnt go many places the next day because we were so emo that we were going back :( NAWWWWWWWW. Ok, that's basically the whole trip. :) 

Finals coming, so dont think I have time to update my blog. My next update will be in a month time! Ciao! <3

I was back in Penang and now I am back in Adelaide.

I am such a lousy blogger. I don't even deserve to be called a blogger. Ughhhh. Lazy bum. I should update my blog more often but I only think about my blog when I am super bored!! ==

Here's a summary for what I've done during my summer break back in Penang, Malaysia. If u are my follower in Instagram then u might know what I've been up to. My Instagram account is @angsharmaine. Hahaha. :) Let the photo do the talking because if I were to type every single thing i did back in Penang, I might need to type until the day my child is born or somethinggg. Basically I spent most of my time with my family of friends. OKay, I am talking nonsense. Hahhaha. DUH~ Who else can I spend time with.

I am glad I have her. Mostly, its quite awkward to watch movie with only one of ur friend. Surprisingly, we did fine! :) But its time to say GOODBYEEEE! :(( I really hope that I can go back to Penang this July. But I think the chances are quite thin unfortunately. :( And my bitches just being bitches, they actually discussed about going to club at the end of JUNE! Which is during my final exams period! UGhhhhhh! *BIG SIGHHHH*

For the past two years, I usually spend my christmas eve and new years eve with Tcmaine. Although she left, but the world never stop spinning, I still need to continue and celebrate every festive seasons! <3 I remember there was one year when I spend my new years eve with two of the most important people in my life, which is Shinyee and Tcmaine. That NYE was quite crazy and memorable though. The joke about toothpaste and toothbrush! Or maybe we were drunk, so anything is funny when we are drunk somehow! Hhahahhahhaha 

Okayyy, This year I spend my Christmas eve with my babyboy and Shinyee with her babyboy. That christmas we learnt something, DO NOT LIE! (its an inside joke actually) Muahhahahahah

Okay, Its normal to eat a lot when you are back to ur hometown, especially if u come from Penang! MY goshhhhh! I've been craving for Currymee, Hokkien mee, O-chien and otak-otak so badlyyyyy! I can actually die. I kinda regret I didnt eat 99 when I was back! Sighhh! 
I baked a lot when I was back home! I am kinda good at it actually! My future husband is gonna be a lucky man! LOL!! 老王卖瓜， 自卖自夸!
